For Kimberly Fehler, the owner and CEO of MealScript, the journey to leading a national food company is deeply personal. Living on her family's farm in western McLennan County, Texas, Kimberly’s life is anchored by her family—Hannah, Jean, and their beloved animals.
This foundation in home and agriculture traces back to her childhood, where she spent summers learning to cook, can, and preserve homegrown produce with her grandmother. These formative years cultivated a lifelong love for fresh, simple, and clean food. Her entrepreneurial spirit was sparked early on in her family's agricultural supply business, inspiring her to own several food and beverage ventures of her own, including Hannah's on Main.
Kimberly’s passion for food is matched by a formidable professional skill set. She holds three college degrees—Culinary Arts, Psychology, and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling—showcasing her dedication to both her craft and her continuous education. Her impressive 4.0 GPA in her Master's program, earned while balancing a full-time career and single motherhood, speaks to her incredible drive and resilience.
Her culinary background is extensive, including a role on the award-winning culinary team at the Hotel Adolphus's esteemed French Room. She has also spent time as a culinary arts instructor, sharing her knowledge with others.
For Kimberly, cooking is more than a profession; it’s an identity. As she says, “No matter what I have done, or where I have been, I have always come back to my home base—Cooking. Being a food technician—Cook/Chef/Baker is who I am.” This passion is the heart of MealScript, and it’s the reason she is committed to bringing her love of food and home to tables across the nation.

The Root of the Recipe
For MealScript founder Kimberly, food was always a language of love and service, learned not just from Julia Child on TV, but while nurturing a garden on the family farm and cooking beside her Grandmother. This foundation instilled a lifelong commitment to integrity and the meticulous process of turning raw ingredients into something beautiful.
The Pursuit of Precision
Kimberly honed this passion, earning a formal culinary education and induction into the elite Les Dames d'Escoffier. Her culinary authority was forged during her tenure on the award-winning team at The French Room (1996-2001), where she mastered the art of bespoke creation: the strategic planning, the flawless execution, and the precision required for a top-tier dining experience.
The Missing Ingredient: Empathy
After years spent running fine dining kitchens, Kimberly looked beyond the chef's counter and saw a crisis among her high-achieving peers: the mentally drained professional.
These busy friends, who had the passion to cook, were paralyzed by decision fatigue. They were sacrificing the pleasure of wholesome meals and the connection it brings, defaulting to costly, quality-compromised meal kits or takeout. They had lost the control she knew was essential to good food and good health.

MealScript was born from the conviction that busy people deserve to relax, enjoy preparing beautiful food, and maintain total control of their budget and ingredient quality.
In an age of algorithms, Kimberly insists on the human touch: "Our weekly MealScripts are not created using artificial intelligence." Every client is paired with a dedicated Concierge, whose sole job is to become an expert in your preferences, ensuring your script is as personal and perfect as the finest meal.
